I'm spending this semester at the AICAD New York Studio Program! I have a studio and apartment in Brooklyn. It has been going really well so far - it is very "fine art based" so I am getting exposed to a lot of contemporary art, the likes of which I probably wouldn't have otherwise bothered to pay attention to. So I'm learning !
I'm also trying to get around town and show some people my work and talk to them about being an illustrator. I've gotten some great advice so far .

Anyways, I just posted some sketches from a project I started right as I got into the studio - a character a day (inspired by my sequential art teacher). I've seen so many captivating people on the train or the street, I thought this could be a good opportunity to experiement with the figure in a more "Cartoon" context, while becoming more familiar with ink. There are a lot of characters so far, but I posted only 10 or so. I've done some comic strips too, which perhaps I'll post too. You should let me know what you guys think, if you have the time.
